Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ahhlo app (“the app”), provided by Bean Studio Apps (“we”, “us”), 60 Paya Lebar Road, #06-28, Paya Lebar Square, Singapore 409051. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

Using the app

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for the activity under your account. Use the app only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.

Your content

You own the data you put into the app — your baby profiles, logged activity, schedules, and other entries. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, process, and sync that data so the app can function, including syncing it to caregivers you invite. We don’t claim ownership of your content and we don’t use it for advertising or model training. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Purchases

The app offers an optional one-time purchase (“Pro”) that unlocks additional features. Pro is not a subscription — there is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel. The purchase is processed and billed by Apple’s App Store or Google Play under their terms, and is subject to their refund policies. The price is shown before you buy. If you reinstall the app or set up a new device, you can restore your Pro purchase from within the app using the same App Store or Google Play account.

Caregiver sharing

The app lets you invite others to share access to a baby’s log. You are responsible for who you invite and for the information you choose to share with them. Anyone you invite to a baby can view and add to that baby’s activity log until you remove them.

Not medical advice

Ahhlo is a logging and organizing tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, health, or professional advice. Anything the app shows — including schedules, summaries, or suggestions — is informational only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for decisions about your child’s health, sleep, or feeding. Do not use the app in an emergency — if you think your child needs medical attention, contact a healthcare professional or emergency services. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on information in the app.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the app available and reliable, but we provide it “as is” and can’t guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We may also update these Terms; if we make material changes we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bean Studio Apps is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount paid for your Pro purchase (whether collected by us or by the App Store or Google Play), or USD 50, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Termination

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the app in a way that harms other users or the service.

Inactive accounts. To avoid keeping stale data, we may delete an account and all of its data after 12 months of inactivity (no sign-in and no logged activity). We may send a reminder to the email address on the account before doing so, and signing in at any time resets this period. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to the “Resolving disputes” section below, you and Bean Studio Apps submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the app. Nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country where you live.

If you have a problem, please email us first — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally. Please contact us before starting any formal proceeding so we have a chance to help.
